Hey everyone! Today I want to continue our lesson on Graphing Absolute Value functions!

Remember that the General Form of the line is y=a|x - h| + k, where (h, k) is the vertex.

Things to keep in mind:

1. The coefficient of x is 1.

2. The "h" value of the vertex is the opposite of what is in the formula. You can investigate this on Desmos.com

3. The "a" is similar to a slope. It also determines how wide or narrow the graph is and whether the graph opens up or down. The graph opens up if a is positive and down if a is negative.

4. When making an x/y chart, you want to first find the vertex, then chose two points above it and two points below it.
